My Services

Prenatal care

Customized to your needs

Midwifery care is known for promoting wellness, reducing risks and improving outcomes during pregnancy and birth. A huge part of this process takes place during prenatal care. Your prenatal visits will focus on care that is individualized to your specific needs, with visits averaging 45-60 minutes. Along with the physical check-ups on you and baby, all of your concerns are addressed, all questions are answered, and you will leave our visits feeling positive and empowered.

Home birth

Be the leader of your care

Give birth in the comfort of your own home. Home birth is a safe and reasonable choice for low risk healthy birthing families. Midwives are trained in handling emergencies and bring the necessary items to care for you and your baby. We ensure that you are transfered to the hospital when something has changed that makes it unsafe to continue at home.

Postpartum care

Start parenthood supported

You will receive postpartum care tor the first six weeks after you give birth. During this "fourth trimester" I hope to ensure you feel supported and cared for as you tackle all of the brand new challenges of parenthood. You will be seen in your home at 24-36 hours post birth, 1 week, 2 weeks and 6 weeks postpartum. As well as be reffered for a visit with a local IBCLC (lactation consultant) if the need arises to make sure your breastteeding journey gets off to a great start.

Your Community Midwife

Mandee

I am a Community Midwife, wife and mother of 3 great kids. While researching my birth options while pregnant with my first child, a passion was ignited inside me surrounding birth. I became a birth doula and supported birthing families for 13 years until I decided to pursue my true calling of Midwifery. I completed Indie Birth Midwifery School as well as a 6 year apprenticeship. I currently am pursing certification as a Certified Professional Midwife by the North American Registry of Midwives. My goal is to be a “guardian of normal” during your birth, one that understands *your* normal and is an expert in the physiological process of birth. I only intervene when that process strays from normal. I believe in autonomous birth. The truth is that homebirth is a safe and wonderful option for low risk healthy women.
